Édgar Ramírez: The International face of Venezuela.
Ramírez began his career in Venezuelan telenovelas, where he quickly stood out for his natural talent. However, his breakthrough came with the film Carlos (2010), an Olivier Assayas miniseries in which he portrayed the infamous terrorist Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, also known as “Carlos the Jackal.” His performance earned critical acclaim, winning him a Golden Globe and a César Award, as well as an Emmy nomination. This role catapulted his career and opened the doors to larger projects across Hollywood and Europe.
Since then, Ramírez has proven his ability to inhabit a wide range of characters and genres.
